Hello to all!

Checking in again after another eventful and exciting month — and as many of you have seen online, Kacie Jae’s has officially launched!

Wow. What a rollercoaster. I feel incredibly grateful to finally share my first product line with the world. Trying to summarise the last month feels almost impossible, but let’s begin with the very first production day.

It was two full days of baking, packaging, sealing, and cleaning. Because I hire a commercial kitchen, everything — ingredients, equipment, packaging — travels with me to and from the bakery. The bake itself was a great success, but not without its challenges. I definitely overscheduled and underestimated the workload of producing such a large volume. A learning curve for sure. To top it off, a burst water main occurred on-site mid-bake! It didn’t affect production, but there was plenty of chaos happening around us while we worked, haha.

Despite it all, the day went incredibly well and the detailed planning paid off. There’s still plenty of space to refine the process and increase efficiency. I’ve since completed my second bake day, producing Raspberry & Pistachio — and it turned out beautifully. I’ve made small improvements to encourage more clusters in the final texture, and the results were exactly what I hoped for. Working with a smaller quantity was also much more manageable alongside full-time work. I’ll continue refining consistency and baking methods as I go — it’s exciting to see how subtle tweaks can elevate the final product.

We also had the FML videography team capturing content throughout bake day. I’m so excited to see the edited footage. Tom and Mubs have been incredibly supportive in the lead-up to launch, and it meant a lot to have such a driven, thoughtful team around me during such an important moment.

Then came launch day — and I truly couldn’t have asked for more. Orders rolled in, everything shipped smoothly, and the feedback so far has been nothing short of amazing.

I took four weeks of annual leave from my full-time job to support the launch, troubleshoot anything unexpected, and fully immerse myself in production and market preparation. I’m now comfortable with the entire workflow — from bake days to packaging to market setup — and feeling confident moving forward.

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve attended multiple markets, and just like online, the response has been so positive. Stock is moving, conversations are flowing, and it feels incredibly rewarding to see people react to the product in real time.

As I move forward, my focus is visibility — getting the product seen. Through markets, PR boxes to micro-influencers, Meta ads, and potential business collaborations, I’m committed to building strong momentum.

With the year coming to an end, I’m also starting to map out personal and business goals for 2026. Time moves so fast, which is why it feels so important to pursue the things that give us fulfilment and purpose.

Thank you all for your continued support.
I look forward to updating you as we head into 2026 — who knows what the year will bring?

Until next month,

Kacie Jae xx
