Hello!

Welcome to my very first blog entry, and thank you so much for following along. I believe there’s a mix of past and present souls here who’ve signed up for my monthly blog — your support truly means everything to me.

Where to begin!

It’s been a long and colourful road since the closure of Kacie Jae’s in 2020. From working FIFO on remote South Australian mine sites, to launching an online nutrition coaching and workplace education startup, followed by a life-changing interstate move — landing in the bustling, vibrant city of Melbourne. I adore living here. Having relocated across various states in Australia, I must admit… Melbourne feels like the final destination.

Crossing the border into Victoria, such an exciting time!Enroute! The fortnightly commute to and from work.Crane operation and rigging on a remote, refurbishment project.

I currently work full-time as a rigger and crane operator on infrastructure projects throughout the city. But those who know me know that the entrepreneurial flame is always burning inside.

Since moving to Melbourne, I’ve been doing deep work around my values, vision, mission, and purpose — guided by a mentor I value immensely. Ultimately, that work has led me to the idea of relaunching Kacie Jae’s — previously known as Kacie Jae’s Granola.

Monthly meeting with mentor, Joseph Mencel

Kacie Jae’s will relaunch in November with the first product line: a range of three decadent granola flavours. Past customers will recognise two of them, but I’ve created an incredible third addition — one that took countless attempts to perfect. Could it be the best flavour yet? I’ll let you be the judge, haha.

The relaunch will position Kacie Jae’s as makers of decadent wholefoods. It’s an exciting concept that allows me to explore new avenues and create products tailored to the seasons. Decadent, wholefood ingredients — hand-crafted, plant-based, and free from artificial colours and preservatives.

My approach this time around will be slightly different. I now know what worked, what didn’t, and to be honest - with two previous start up endeavors, continued education through podcasts, books, study, and mentorship - i feel like something has finally clicked within my headspace. I have experienced a mindset shift away from the passion project vibe and geared toward making this a long term, sustainable and succesful business. It took some time, and i have a lot of learning ahead of me however this feels different, i am different.

Right now, I’m full steam ahead with planning and organising for the November launch and 2026. Think: packaging design, website development, mailing box sizes, bake day logistics, costing, branding, social media, marketing campaigns, and boutique market applications — all of which I’m working on outside of my full-time job, fuelled by sheer grit, hydration, and moisturiser (lol). I cant wait for you to see what i have been working on over the last 12 months.

Endless designs, comparisons and tweaks of mailing box and gift box options.

With this process comes a rollercoaster of emotions — inspiration, joy, confidence, pride, fear, and overwhelm, to name a few. But nothing brings me more fulfilment than creating, building and sharing with the world.

This is the first of many monthly blogs I’ll be sharing — keeping you updated on milestones, challenges, and small wins as I navigate the notoriously tricky startup phase in the fast-paced world we live in.

Until then,

Kacie x
